EMERGENCY VEHICLE INCIDENT PREVENTION PROGRAM

finance958

If you’ve wondered about the newly graveled area next to Fire Station 1, you may have noticed it put into use August 21st and 22nd . This is our EVIP (Emergency Vehicle Incident Prevention Program) Training Course. Six new volunteers completed their driver training on all vehicles Saturday and Sunday. They covered topics such as vehicle operations and handling, traffic safety, maneuvering obstacles, road changes and evasive steering. Having an EVIP Training Course prepares volunteer firefighters to respond on emergency calls safely and efficiently.
